Author's Notes: Funny how much I draw on my own life experiences and interests to craft these stories. The koi and pond are real in a nirvana-like backyard. Catching them each fall, to be wintered in the basement, was usually the final backyard event before Winter would roll through the Dakotas.
This trust thing, yeah that...what's stronger? the actual ropes in the story or the desire to push through your fears and embrace the love yet to be discovered.
I'm not a practitioner of Shibari (the binding sequences described in both Unbound 1 & 2) but I find it hauntingly beautiful to look at. Aggressively and alluring, it provided the backdrop theme of the book as the essence of trust between partners. Enjoy.
