Author's Notes: This was in the back of my head for way too long. There are twists and turns in this fairly long PG rated novel. To be honest, one of the characters became so strong, I’ve decided to do a full series based on her. There are light moments as well as deeply emotional portions…prepare for the roller coaster.
Mira is focused on restarting her art career, but when Ryan, the new male model in art class, strikes up a conversation, her concentration turns to him.
He sees more than a budding new artist, more than a beautiful love interest. She has untold power and he can unleash it
Can she learn to control her abilities before an unseen force takes it from her?

Author's Notes: A little darker, a little scary (ok, it's creepy) There are witch's and demons and no shortage of steam. (The studio scene where the nude model joins the students as they walk around reviewing each others work actually happened in real life)
As an overworked clinical social worker on a downward emotional and career spiral, Celine Patterson is assigned, what should have been, one more simple psych case.
This is no ordinary John Doe, after one touch, her mystery patient might be the one to tip her over the edge in a battle between reality and career-ending fantasy.
How is it possible he can make her feel so good when all she does is wrong?
Was their meeting a random act or foretold destiny?
Suddenly, taken from her by force, she risks everything to rescue him and allow his astonishing mission to be completed.
When Angels Fall is the poignant story of a woman who discovers she must confront her past, push through her fears and step across a border from which she may never return. A riveting exploration of personal boundaries, sexual limits, and alternate dimensions.
Author’s Notes: What if, when life is at it’s darkest moment, you find yourself exactly where you should be?”
A story of personal redemption (maybe more than one) Heavy visual imagery is key in this genre-bending story. I wrote this as a visual stimulant. Power and light abound, sharp jarring angles play against a soft and bonding relationship. I realize the breaking of the client/patient barrier is a serious issue. Keep in mind this is fiction :)
About: Mira was talented from the beginning. As a child she could pick up a crayon, later a pencil or pastels and create a personal masterpiece. A great eye combined with a steady hand and her canvases would come alive. The creativity flowed like music.
Her promising art career took a nosedive when her mother chose to trade her father in for a new boytoy. Her mother’s actions destroyed the family but Mira was strong… for awhile. She did what she could to help her little brother. Mom pretty much ditched them, Dad did his best but it wouldn’t be enough.
Then, in what seemed like slow motion, she snapped.
She took it hard. Her art got dark. It got angry. It was no longer alive. It was something very different indeed. The damage, the pressure, everyone was a critic. She boiled over.
She cut up more than her canvas.
Her physical recovery was quick. She was smart and strong. The emotional recovery would take far longer.
Author's Notes: There is a scene in this book where I had Rihanna's Kiss It Better, playing on repeat for about an hour. See if you can guess where... There's so much about this one that comes from my real life. The art class settings and the naked walk-arounds were a real thing. I really think that an artist harnesses magic, both their own and maybe from elsewhere too to create.
I think I know Mira a little too well and I was sad when this finished up.
I don't think I'm done with her character.
About: A most unexpected healers touch.

Author's Notes: This has an alternative ending that I may add at some point. I usually start out with a story idea and then develop the story in that direction, but this one took me in two directions, only one of which ended up here. Not a radically different outcome, but Hunter's character offered an alternative at one point. Maybe a spin off.
I do have a mysterious neighbor down the street, just sayin'.
About: The very same day that young, innocent Meryl Dubois moves into her new apartment, she inadvertently releases a phantom that had haunted the building’s tenants in decades past. Bizarre occurrences start soon after, beginning with sweet Meryl.
After being so rudely “sealed in” to a bedroom wall by the apartment building’s caretaker, The Phantom was free once again and he picks up right where he left off. Spirits were very bad for business ordinarily, but this one takes the cake—tenants do not move out because of fear after receiving his… attentions. It was more out of shame at what The Phantom had gotten them to do to themselves.
And perhaps to a neighbor or two.
At first there was confusion. Chant-like words said in low tones, busy fingers, held breaths, and lots and lots of heat and tension. Then there was a rush of warm air and—was that a scream of rage in the background?
Will this young, innocent woman turn and run? Or will she draw upon her hidden mysterious past to stand and fight? Or perhaps teach The Phantom a few tricks he doesn't know.

Author's Notes: This got out of hand right away. The thought of an apartment building running rampant with overstimulated tenants was too good to pass up This the first of 3 parts. Lighthearted and steamy, I think it's a fun read.
About PART 2 : Meryl’s got her hands full in more ways than one.
Can she keep the Phantom at bay?
His insatiable desires are driving the tenants out of the building.
Will her plan to protect her new friends and save the building succeed?
Will this young, innocent woman turn and run? Or will she draw upon her hidden mysterious past to stand and fight? Or perhaps teach The Phantom a few tricks he doesn't know.

Author's Notes: More characters and mayhem when Meryl hatches her plan. Without giving too much away, it's safe to say she rallies the troops to give their all, but a sacrifice is coming and a price will have to paid.
The pressure is, um, building....Does this have a happy ending? Sorry, no spoilers here.
About: Spooky, Sexy, Cool, the finale.
She’s been practicing and growing stronger, now, she’s ready to fight. But something has changed.
A choice she never expected

Author's Notes: The ending of this sort of snuck up on me and I really didn't want this to end. At the end of the day, we're all human, right. We want the same things. Once we know our pasts, we can begin to choose our futures. Enjoy.
